After seven years, Louis XV gave Martin the go signal to plant vines for cognac even if there was still a ban in planting vines. Remy Martin perfected his version of cognac and passed down the recipe to his descendants. Production for this alcohol nowadays still makes use of the same recipe and the same standards that Remy Martin used years ago. Well, at least, that is what they’re claiming.
