The Men Behind The Most Famous Names in Alcohol
|[tps_title]Richard Hennessy[/tps_title]
Richard Hennessy was an aristocrat from Irish descent. In 1765, he worked as King Louis XV’s mercenary. As payment for the services he rendered as mercenary, he got a piece of land which he used this to create his eaux-de-vie trading company. Jean Fillioux, Hennessy’s master blender, came to join him in 1800. By 1817, Hennessy’s superior old pale was brought to George IV. Apparently, the royal one liked what he tasted and so Hennessy now had an even more upscale market. The next time you take a sip of Hennessy, you can say you had the same drink as royalty!

Rob Roy was not a fictional character. The title they’re looking for is “historical figure.”
