One Hit Wonders that the World Never Needed
|[tps_title]10. 4 Non Blondes: What’s Up[/tps_title]
Let’s give credit to this group of homeless-looking women that had a distinctly weird music style. They sold over 5 million copies of their debut CD. What’s Up became an instant hit, but like some bands, some members think that they’re better than the rest. Linda Perry knew that as the lead singer of what could be a legendary rock group (at least, that’s what she thought), she was the only talent in the band. She pursued a solo career and discovered that they were a one-hit wonder because she, too, was mediocre when compared to the rest of the people in the music industry. She presumably writes for commercials now, but the highlight of her career began and ended in 1993.
